This site is proposed as a useful guide for visitors to the Villa Romana del Casale, today the greatest testimony of the Roman presence in Sicily.

This is a journey to a place where centuries of history are preserved, discovering a wonderful archaeological site, recognized "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.

On this site you will find the description, floor plan, the meaning of the mosaics in different rooms, the myths and metamorphosis already described by Ovid, the beautiful wall decoration, daily life and the pleasures of the wealthy Roman aristocrats. And yet the imaginative reconstruction of certain environments that allows us to understand the original architectural features and furnishings typical of the period.
